Judo Joel's Jamaican Jerk Marinade

Judo Joel’s Asian Infused Jamaican Jerk Marinade has once again been awarded multiple medals at the Scovie Awards in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In the 2012 Scovie Awards, we were awarded the gold medal in both the Barbecue Sauce/Jerk Hot and the Barbecue Sauce/Jerk Mild divisions (We’ve always considered our marinade to be a “medium” ourselves). We were also awarded the gold medal in the “Meat Required, Jerk Seasoning” division. These medals bring us to a total of six gold medals and one silver medal in some of the largest “spicy food” competitions in the industry since October of 2010.

"Judo Joel's Asian-Infused Jamaican Jerk Marinade" is sweet and spicy with accents of soy, fresh ginger, and habanero peppers. In addition to being low sodium (as defined by American Heart Association), it's all natural, cholesterol free, low fat (1.5 g total fat, 0 g saturated fat and 0 g trans fat), all without sacrificing flavor. As a marinade or grill-baste it imparts a wonderful Jamaican/Asian flair to beef, pork, seafood, poultry, even fresh vegetables and wild game. As an ingredient, it enhances mayonnaise, works wonderfully as a dipping sauce, even adds pizazz to a Bloody Mary. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination.
